It has a 3/4" subfloor my plan is to add to the subfloor. I would like to finish it with the epoxy finish that they use in garages. I am looking at the rustolium epoxy. Can that be applied to wood floor. And what prep would the floor require? Open Question: which paint is normaly used for walls?to paint my bedroom walls, which kind of paint is normaly used? acrylic? oil? latex? please let me know why. Open Question: Where can i get a hard plastic cover for a window air conditioner that is in the wall?I just bought a house and right in the middle of the dining room wall is an ugly "window" air conditioner. For now I just want to buy one of those hard plastic covers to put over it (not the tarp like things) and screw into the wall.The house has central air the old air conditoner was just never removed and never will be used so i want something semi-permanant until a later date when i can take the unit out and patch the wall. Where can i get one of these? All I can find are the central air unit covers and the stupid tarps. I would like to find some online that are actual pictures with the words in them to hang on my walls but I cant find any online . I don't want wall stickers because I don't have smooth walls and they wont stick. Ive only found a couple of sites with pictures but they are so ugly and small and they don't look nice at all. I plan on becoming an artist..so I am up for adding art. I am not allowed to paint my room..it is square and tiny with beige/white walls..I love colors. and the only furniture I really have is a desk and my bed. If it helps I also have two large mirror doors for my closet. and yeah. Hope that helps..I want something creative and idk..this is kinda hard.
