Open Question: Decorating ideas for baby room (neutral)?

Hi, I am looking for decorating ideas for a nursery that are gender neutral. I really like pale yellow, my husband thinks some kind of green. I've always loved "Classic Pooh" as one idea. Ideas about colors, themes, etc are what I am looking for. Links to pictures would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

Open Question: What can I do to my chairs to make them look good?

My mom bought me two wood chairs. My brother stained them for me to match my table, but they got blotchy in places and look awful. I'd decided to spray paint them because the stain was so bad. After I finished the seats I decided I didn't like it. So now I have two badly stained chairs with black seats. What can I do to make them look nice so I can take them out of my garage that hopefully doesn't involve much sandpaper?

Open Question: Mattress Toppers/ Foam?????

I am looking for one of those foamy things you put on your mattress, I believe they are called mattress toppers. In commercials someone like, put their hand on one, and it like retains the shape for a few seconds, then it goes back to its own shape after that hand was taken off. I need a really good one, not INSANELY expensive, and one that would be REALLY comfortable. LINKS WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!!!! Thanks! :)

Open Question: How do I create the proper faux finish for Spanish Style Home Decor?

I have seen many articles on techniques using sponges (sponge on or sponge off) or brushes or cloths. I have read about using two different color paints and three. I have also seen different opinions on what order to apply the different paint tones (darker or lighter first if using three). I have not seen a picture with a description of "here is how you acheive this". I want to do either a tannish, or yellowish, or yellow brown...and if i'm feeling crazy, maybe an orange-red. Any help with technique and even which paint brands/colors to use would be wonderful.

Open Question: Will I need to prime wood before spraying it with enamel paint?

I have made 28 small chairs and 7 tables for a model project i am doing at school. The seats of the chairs and the tops of the table are made of PVC and the table and chair legs are made of wood. All I want to know is if I have to prime these surfaces before I can spray them with enamel paint, taking into consideration, they are quite small and a top quality finish is not necessary. In addition, any ideas on drying time would also be helpful. Cheers guys, and thanks in advance to any helpful replies.

Open Question: What color curtains would go good with dark gray walls?

I just painted our bedroom a dark gray (almost has a blue tint to it) and our trim is white, what color curtains would you put with it? In a few months this room will be a toy room after we get our master bedroom finished so I don't want the curtains looking too grown up. Any advise?
