Open Question: Hard wood maple flooring...wax?

We just put down a finished maple floor. 4 inch slats. (Bellawood) We've been told to put a coat of wax to protect it from our two 100lb dogs. I've never had wood floors before and have no idea if this is even a good idea or if it will work. Should I do this? What kind, how often and how much would I use? Thanks!

Open Question: What is the best way to paint interior doors?

I am keeping the doors the same color (white). Do I need to primer? Do I need to sand the doors? I see there are comments on other websites on how to achieve this but I would like to get your opinion. I would prefer to remove the doors instead of having them on the hinges while painting.

Must ask. My fireplace is full of black smoke on the inside, I'd like to clean it out and make it nice a white again but I'd like to know what to use, what to buy and where to buy it from. Is there any?

Open Question: Can someone shed some light on this please?

Hey so i am just wondering what the hell is going on here. I always had pretty good skin up until i turned 17, i started breaking out really bad and had no idea why. I am 18 now, i'm wondering if this is normal or not.. Cause i'm really worried of getting adult acne. I'm not broken out all the time, i can go for months without having a breakout but when i do it lasts a while. I know that teens get acne, but is it normal to get it so late? Is this hereditery? I have to older sisters, one of them has really oily skin and has adult acne, the other has pretty much my same skin and dousn't have a blemish. Do you think i will take after one of them or is this not how it works? Is acne treatable? It's not sever, but its enough to effect my quality of life when i am broken out. Can someone shed some light on this?
