Open Question: need help with deciding on an AC UNIT for my window..how many BTU units do I need for my master bedroom.?It is of pretty decent size....my room gets so freakin hot in the summer..i cant even breathe...the ventilation in my house sucks...it could feel pretty cool downstairs and my room is burning up...so imagine how sauna like it feels if it's three digit degree weather....turning on the AC does nothing....Anyways i had used a used AC unit at the end of last summer and it helped a little....made it more bearable.....but I'm ready to buy a new unit right now since i know it's cheaper since it's winter...Please help me out....what should I get for my size room? I have three windows in my bedroom...but only one opens wide to 19 inches.....i have a bathroom that has a wider window...opens wide to 22 inches....there's a narrow pathway that leads to the bathroom that has a wider window....should I consider putting the unit there since the window is bigger? Will the cool air circulate all around...or should i put the unit in the main room with the smaller window>? what kind of AC would fit? can i buy a decent one for $200?? can i turn the AC unit on it's side to make it fit? Thanks Open Question: Suggestions On Re-Designing My Room?I'm 15 years old and my room is where me and all my friends kick it, and lately it just seems too.... simple. I need suggestions on maybe what to add, where to move my stuff, what to get rid of, anything. I need to definitely keep the couch, and all the TV stuff. the desk can be taken out because i am getting a laptop next week but the TV used as a monitor has my Xbox usually hooked up to it, and I'm considering using it as a monitor for my new laptop so me and my friends can watch movies online on a larger screen. Anyway, i can put up posters, put in bean bags, whatever. Just as long as it looks really chill, and its fun to kick it.
