Open Question: I need Room rearranging help?

Hey what's up, I need some help rearranging my room or redesigning (But I can't buy much new furniture) . Here are some pictures: http://img42.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dscn0070ou.jpg As you can see, There's not much room, And my Drums are horribly cramped and hard to get over them to play. My room is only about 110 square feet (I think). Is there any other way I can arrange or get rid of anything to make my room more spacious and give me more room for my drums? Thanks

Open Question: Are the existing beams on my porch stout enough to support the roof if I take the midspan supports out.?

The porch on my adobe house is approximately 46.5 feet wide by 11 deep. It is supported by 6"x12"x13.3' beams. Each beam being 13'4" long is supported by a 6x6 at each end and one in the middle, with a corbel between the beam and support. The secondary beams that are perpendicular to the support beams are 4x6 beams that run into the house. So I have 4x6 beams (rafters), on 27" centers, laying on the 6x12x13'4" supported by 6x6 posts with corbels inbetween.......Now, with what you know, can I remove the center supports from the 13'4" span, and still have structural integrity? I want to eliminate the middle supports to give my porch a better look, and want also to eliminate some sliding glass doors on the same porch to add some windows to the house.

Open Question: Question about paint drying out?

I forgot to put the lid back on a tin of paint - left overnight will it be ok to use tomorrow? It's water based emulsion if that helps. It was expensive so I don't want to have to buy more! Thanks!

Open Question: How do we fill in very thin spaces between real hardwood flooring that we put down badly.?

The hardwood is real wood (birch) and there are a few boards that are too far apart. Is there something we can do to fill in these few spaces? The hardwood was nailed down. We are seniors and did it by ourselves because we didn't have extra $ to pay for labour. Thanks.

Open Question: When renting out a house, should you paint the walls for them?

I ask this because my room is a very bright apple green, and when a family came to see the house they said it was too bright. They were really nice people and I think they will get the house, but I don't know whether I should paint that room before they get it. Please answer and feel free to state your true opinion. I need all the help I can get :(
