Open Question: Bedroom designing - making a room cool and interesting help needed!?Basically, I have a large rectangular bedroom at home, wooden floor, white walls, I have a bathroom leading off in one corner, and on the other side i have the door leading out. I also have a fire place mid way down one of the longer sides, then i also have a large window. I have high ceilings. I was thinking of re-doing my room in a sort of style that has my bed and my clothes on one side and then my table and my sofa and stereo etc on the other. Any help on how i could do this or how else i could make my room look really cool?? In my bedroom, the furniture is: double bed table couple chairs small sofa wardrobe chest of drawers pinball machine (weird i know) and then this thin but tall tower of shelves seriously help needed, i want a really cool room Open Question: Can someone tell me of anyone who sells any cupcake decor online besides ebay, etsy, and amazon?I have tried all three places and couldn't find anything. I was told that a lot of stores sell cupcakes around valentines day and its that time of year. Thanks :) Open Question: Arranging furniture in small, awkward living room?I have a small space. I have two walls that are completely window (practically), one wall that has a hallway in the middle, and the lone "regular" wall is the wall that connects the living room and kitchen. Right now I have a huge entertainment center, couch, large chair and end table. I am getting rid of the god awful ent center an opting for a corner unit instead, so I am rearranging my furniture. I am wondering if its okay to "block" off the room by putting the couch longways so the back is facing the hall (you will see it when you walk in), then put the chair and two tables on the kitchen wall (one will be between the couch and chair, one on the other side of the chair), then but two bookshelves and my floor lamps on the wallspace where the hallway is. I can't think of any alternative. I have three kids, so my LOGIC is 1) I cant get rid of the chair cause it's an extra spot to sit and 2) blocking off the LR will prevent my kids from running in circles in the kitchen/living room (each side of the kitchen/LR wall are entrances). I forgot to mention, the wall opposite the kitchen wall (Im on an en unit) has a huge window, but also a built in shelf thing, so it looks like a bay window. Right now my couch is in front of it. It looks bad. I dont know who the builder is, but they did a horrible job in my opinion with the layout. A window without the bench thingy would be ideal.. Anyway, just wondering if anyone can help me out. My 2nd idea is put the couch on the kitchen/LR wall, new small corner unit in corner, keep bokshelves and lamps in same place but then I dont know where i would put the chair. :( I hate small awkward spaces.
