They are not really cheaper-not like you are going to make a ton of money doing it like this. You have to turn sideways so your shoulders don't hit! Open Question: Matching flooring with cupboards/appliances?Hello decorators... My boyfriend and I are having a hard time deciding on flooring. We both like dark hardwood and think the place we just bought would look really nice with dark flooring, except the kitchen cupboards are a light tan colored wood and all of the appliances are white. We want black appliances eventually, or black with stainless steel, but I don't think this will look good with dark hardwood. What do you think? If we kept the appliances white, do you think the dark wood would still look funny with the light colored wood cupboards? I mean I don't think they clash or anything but is it like a decorating faux pas or anything? Thank you!!!
