my house has chipped paint on inside doors and along the trim above the carpet on the wall.. can i paint over the chipped areas or will that look terrible? do i sand it? or do they just need to be replaced?

Open Question: Can ceramic/porcelain tile be laid over a linoleum floor?

Replacing my linoleum kitchen floor with porcelain tile. Installer wants to lay it right over the linoleum. Seems like a half #@$ way of doing it ...... please advise.

Open Question: is there any way i can learn interior decorating by staying at home.?

i love to decorate either it is inside or outside of home, but my problem is that i don't have much time to go out and learn.i am just wondering is there any way that by staying home or just spending a couple of hours outside i can learn this in a professional way.i will appreciate if anybody will take sometime to guide me.
