Open Question: Should a vapor or non-vapor barrier be used on a wood subfloor when installing laminate flooring?

Laminate flooring is going to be installed on a wood subfloor in a mobile home in Florida. I have been told that a vapor barrier is needed but was told by someone else that a non-vapor barrier--rather than a vapor barrier--should be used. So which is correct? Should a vapor barrier be used only over concrete and a non-vapor barrier be used on wood? Some of the flooring will also be installed over existing linoleum. Thanks!

Open Question: Can I pin and sew my binding all in one or do I need to pin one side at a time and the each corner separate?

I am quilting a tree skirt for my Christmas tree (yes I know its Jan. skip that part, lol) it is 5 diamonds sewn together so I have 7 corners in all to miter. I was wondering if I could pin all the binding on and then just sew all of it together of if I have to actually pin one side at a time and then miter each corner separate?
