It was a storage room before so it had no door. The room is going to be ready in a little while and I need a cheap sliding door or something cheap that looks good and that keeps privacy. I will give Best Answer to the best answer and the fastest. Thank you ;) Open Question: Removing tile from sheetrock. Help!?I have taken it upon myself to remove the tile on the walls in my bathroom. It is placed over sheetrock walls and the tile is from the 50's and it's plastic. I have started to do this and the wall behind it is sheetrock and sort of looks like cardboard, but it's very textured due to removing the tile. My question is will the whole wall have to be replaced or will it be fine to place beadboard panneling directly over it? I know it's absolutely not paintable. I haven't knocked any holes in the wall, so far. Lol. Anyone who knows more about this, please help! AS- thanks. I was hoping we wouldn't have to remove the sheetrock. Bummer. I started doing this the other day when my husband was at work and he was fine w/ it, but I'm not sure he'll be ok w/ having to tear down and replace the sheetrock. That glue they used back then is terribly thick. It's crazy how thick it is. Luckily our bathroom is tiny, so there's not much wall space that will have to be replaced. Geez, maybe I should've just painted the tile. Too late now! Open Question: Gutters: front only or whole house?My handyman said front only is sufficient. He said it will protect my front plants but around the house, the rain will fall away and down from the house, so I don't need it! I live in Florida. Lots of rain. Hot most of the year. This year has been very cold though! Again, front only only is gonna cost me a couple of hundred dollars. Whole house is gonna be over a thousand dollars. Open Question: Teen Bedroom ideas!? my and my 2 friends?Ok me and my 2 friends want to spice up our room without spending alot. My room is pink and brown. im more of the modern type. but with a twist i like stuff that makes you want to jump. My style is like mileys bedroom. Except im not the zebra print girl. and im really lazy lol. and messy. I want to invite my 2 friend over so we can paint and find stuff for our room. But we need great prices. My friend "N" shes more of the neat type with cute drawings of her own of like pears and stuff. "H" shes more messy like me and is plain but she has a couple of pics on her wall. Open Question: what kind of paint can i use to paint shoes?Hello, my DC's need some paint. my ex girlfriend decided to write all over them, back when we were going out. i tried painting them (by cleaning with acetone, then taping off) with an available can of rust oleum and doused them in clear coat. they looked really, really sharp for about a day, but then the paint dried up and fell off. shit! does anyone know what kind (enamel, etc.) of paint will stick to these shoes? i would like to save these shoes because 1. they are my favorite shoes, 2. it would be more effective to show off my new looking old shoes rather than buy new ones 3. it will piss off the ex, and 4. i really dont have $60 around to buy a new pair.
