Open Question: what should my room theme be?Open Question: Need ideas for decorations!?In my room i have my room my bed is in the corner on the roof there is a hook to hang things, my room is white and lime green the walls are white and my bedcover is white with a green vine. I have silver picture frames that are off to the left side, to balance it up i would like to hang some lanterns from my roof but i can't find any, are there anything nice i can make? Open Question: How to dampen sound from room?I'm in high school and live in a small, very old house with wooden floors, no foundation and no insulation and thin doors. Now, I have massive surround sound speakers and a down-firing subwoofer that I recently got. Not only do I like my music pretty loud but I also play Modern Warfare 2 (gunfire), Forza 3 (engines) and Rock Band (more music) at the same volume. My parents have told me that they're going insane and can't stand it but even if I turn it down they still complain. How can I soundproof or at least dampen the sound from my room? Or should I just trash my speakers and get amazing headphones instead? Another interesting fact: my fairly-loud alarm clock will wake up the entire house.
