Open Question: Workbench for woodworking... I built one and i was wondering if i could use a bar top epoxy for a finish?

OR WILL THIS EPOXY STUFF CHIP OR SCRATCH TOO MUCH? PARDON MY IGNORANCE BUT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL TO HAVE PICS OF ME BUILDING STUFF AS A KID AND MY FAMILY EMBEDDED IN THE TOP. WILL THIS WORK FOR A WORK BENCH?

Open Question: I need ideas on how to redecorate my room with a VERY small budget!?

I'm 14 years old and I'm starting to feel like my room isn't mature enough for me. I want to turn my room into more of a vintage type room (50's-60's). My walls are a some-what grass green and my bedding is a green and blue floral print. I have a black wood desk and a white dresser (its tall and skinny). I also have a redwood chest but I can take it out. I have no intentions of changing my wall color (although suggestions are welcome). I just need some suggestions as to what I could put in my room to make it seem more vintage. thanks :)
