My Fi and I are moving into his grandmother's old house. We don't own it, his dad does. But, he said we are free to paint the walls and do cosmetic repairs. Of course, we don't want to do anything that will cause the house to be less desirable when they finally go to sell it. Anyway, the kitchen cabinets are old! Maybe from the 60 or 70's and they're wood. I was thinking we could paint them white and make them bright and a bit more modern. Would this be a bad idea for the resale value of the home?
I have a walk-in closet. It's pretty big. I don't have much clothes. I only have like 4 pairs of shoes too. But, I still want it to be really attractive and I want it to look organized. I would like to like make a wall of stuff that I like. Like, something from a magazine about style. I want advice on what to do with my closet. And please long answers that will help! Thanks. =]
