Open Question: bamboo turning yellow-any suggestions?i have had my bamboo for about a year and have tried liquid plant food, more sun, less sun, more and less water, everything i could think of...anybody have any reason this is happening and any way to make it better? ps it has scumy stuff at its roots..but it has had that for a while and nothing has been happening til now Open Question: Does anyone know of an organization that could remodel my grandmother's house?My grandma has been in the hospital since Xmas eve and needs her house remodeled to make it handicapped accessible for when she comes home for no cost. She can't afford to buy groceries majority of the time. She has to live off cottage cheese and peaches because her money goes to prescriptions and electricity and water. She has gone down hill since my grandad passed away 1 1/2 years ago. Since she's been in the hospital, she's had multiple surgeries and will not be able to live in her house the way it is now. Her walker won't fit through the doorway and she wouldn't be able to do anything in the bathroom on her own. So please help me anyway you can!!!! Please!!!! We have a futon in our living room and no couch. He claims it's just as good as a couch, perhaps better since it functions as a bed. I feel that it is incredibly uncomfortable as a couch, and only mildly comfortable as a bed. I would much prefer we just had a couch.
