Open Question: DID you find the Green Door yet?Open Question: Different patterns in a living room?I am redecorating my current living space and need some advice. I am going for a damask design, either on the couch or two of the walls. It will definitely be the dominant pattern. I do, however, want to incorporate other patterns into my decor as well, like on the rug for example. But I want it to flow nicely and not clash. I have seen living rooms w/ beautiful decor with all kinds of different patterns. How do I make this work? Open Question: Replacing the drywall in my bathroom. It has black mold and needs to be remodeled!?I recently moved in with a friend and the bathroom we share is in AWFUL condition! The drywall (that was there when he moved in 5 years ago...) has mass amounts of black mold (I can't really bleach dry wall... as that just makes things worse!)... I want to tear all of the drywall out and replace it with either green board or something better... but I don't know anything about home improvements! Is there a guide online somewhere that could help me plan this new venture!!?! I don't want to replace anything other than the walls... the shower is fine, and same with the toilet and the sink. Just the walls (and ceiling) need to be replaced pronto! (money is not an issue, but I would LOVE to stay away from contractors, plumbers, etc... I want to do this project myself. I am currently dating an electrician as well, so safety with the electric is not an issue!) Where should I start? What products do you recommend? Do you have any tips? At the time of the order, we put down a deposit of 50 percent. The company has contacted us and told us that our order is ready for delivery and we need to pay the balance before they'll come to the house and do the installation.
