Open Question: do my neighbors need our permission to put stuff on our joint retaining wall?

We have a retaining wall that we share with our neighbors. They are awful, and we can see into their bathroom at night(not a pretty sight). We asked them to put up curtains, they put a hideous piece of trellis on top of the wall. Don't they need our permission to put something on the joint wall? I thought you could build on your own side but not on top of a joint fence or wall. Am I wrong?

The poster is of a girl on all fours wearing just a gstring posing like a table.

Open Question: How much would an old vanity made by Showers Furniture be worth?

I have an old vanity that was given to me that has a sticker on it that says "Showers Furniture Bloomington, In 1868" I'm pretty positive that the year is just the year they started to furniture company but the vanity is sort of old looking and I could provide a picture for assistance if anyone thinks they can help me figure out a value on it.

Open Question: Teen Room Decorating? (Pictures)?

So I'm getting my room redone. I'm fifteen years old and really interested in interior design but right now my mind is stuck. I love makeup, hair, dancing, singing, acting, paradise, and hollywood. I love some ideas I look at but my room is just TOO SMALL. It's like 13 x 10 ft and there's a window seat plus an angled wall which causes problems. (see pictures) I'm allowed to get my room painted, hardwood, furniture, bedding, rugs, pillows, anything. I've googled for hours but can't find anything small that looks good. If you have any ideas please leave a link. Here's a bit about myself. I like either really white with a splash of colour that reminds me of a sunny day with huge comforters like this, http://lh3.ggpht (DOT) com/jessicacwaks/R_zfxfZBpGI/AAAAAAAACZk/YIiRD-E9w9c/image[21].png But I also like funky colours like this, http://www.homedit (DOT) com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/teen-bedroom-wardrobe-582x726.jpg My room currently looks like this, (I know, it's messy right now. Just ignore that) and it's way too girly and little kiddish for me. I'm not nine anymore. Walking in the door: http://img200.imageshack (DOT) us/i/spring2010007.jpg/ From the window (you can see that stupid angled wall) http://img19.imageshack (DOT) us/i/spring2010008.jpg/ Door View from the window: http://img78.imageshack (DOT) us/i/spring2010009.jpg/ Please leave as many picture ideas as possible, or if you love YOUR room, even take a picture of that for me ! :) Just remove the DOT from the photo links. Yahoo! Answers, is stupid.
