Model No.788 Keynote?I would like to sell this, but I have know idea of its value. Its also known as Stardust Mahogany. Open Question: Redecorating a "bedroom"?I say 'bedroom' since it's a studio, pretty much I'm redoing the whole place and am tackling my bed at the moment. Problem is I can't really think of any stores that sell bedding stuff besides like Macy's, Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond. I even checked out Nordstroms and didn't see much (plus while I do plan to drop a few bills on bedding I'd rather NOT spend $600 or $700). I'm leery of buying off overstock.com since I can't actually see or feel the products (bought some sheets off there a couple of years ago and was disappointed, great for like 3 washes, then awful and they weren't cheap). I'd say my budget for bedding is around $400 total, sheets, down blanket and duvet and a couple accent pillows. I'd like something really nice and luxurious, puffy and comfy. Pretty much, I want a bed no one wants to ever get out of. Any ideas for stores where I could find a LARGE selection (I still haven't made up my mind on what I want and so I'd like to see a lot)? If it helps I live in San Diego. Also, I'd love some decorating ideas, I'm thinking white duvet and maybe dark plum colored sheets? Nothing overly girly, more classic than trendy. Unfortunately a screen would make the place look tiny as hell (the whole thing is less than 300 SQFT anyway). Plus it would block all the light from the huge picture window. I was thinking of doing a 4 poster canopy, to try and give it an airy look but without overpowering anything. What order do you start first?Well Ive done a little taping before, and Now I am going to be taping a little square 24x20 room and was just curious in what order is best to start? Like, do you do all the butt joints and the 4 corners, or start with the ring ( where the wall meets the lid ) then do all the tape seams or what? What is the best most productive way to get it done? Open Question: Where can i find a tv show that would be interested in doing a backyard makeover?Hi guys! We've been working on our backyard for a while now and it seems like we're getting nowhere fast. We live ontop of a 600 ft driveway set into the woods with lots of rocks and almost no grass for our 3 dogs to play in. Are there any tv shows that you can send in pictures or a video and if they pick you, they do a make over? I think our property is truely unique and I feel as though they might be interested in picking us. Thank you! Open Question: Can Valspar Signature paint be used as chalkboard paint?I'm redoing my studio, and I'd like an entire wall to be covered in chalkboard paint. At Lowes, one of the employees told me ANY Valspar signature paint can be used as chalkboard paint. This seems far fetched and silly to me. I know you can get chalkboard paint in colours other than black, but I think it would be quite awesome to have a bright red chalkboard wall. I just want to know if anyone has any legit information on this. Open Question: What should I paint on my wall?I want to paint a mural on my wall this summer, but I don't know what it should be of. Here are my ideas: 1) Charlie brown cartoon- it's classic and would never get old. it would go with my unconventional room decor 2) Poem-- written in large, fancy font. I really like annabel lee, but i think that's a bit morbid to see on my wall every day. 3) outdoor scene- maybe through a window painted on the wall? it would be really cool, a little harder than the rest, but i do have some artistic ability and would probably be able to pull it off. 4) mind map- probably in black and white. i like the idea, but since the point of a mind map is that it is ever changing, it would lose its meaning with time 5) graphic painting: sort of frank lloyd wright geometric pattern-esque? 6) warhol's 9 marilyns- it would be bold and timeless. please list # of ideas in order of what you like most to least. btw-- if you think of something else please mention it, whether it's a totally different idea or for instance, a different poem or cartoon thanks!
