Open Question: Using treated wood inside house?

Open Question: Re-upholstery of dining chairs gone terribly wrong. Help. Txs?

Hello A friend of mine had her radiator replaced and in the process a pipe burst. Needless to say that much of her lounge was damaged. The contractor tried to clean the chairs and it did not work. So they took the dining seats to be re-upholstered and it was delivered in terrible conditions. Much conflict is going on, my friend is in a terrible state due to stress and much pressure of the contractors. She has posted a video with all the details due to the fact that it is too much to explain. She doesn't know what to do to avoid litigation and have her design dining chairs with the same standards they were build, including safety/durability, etc.. including the original screws. The link to the video: http://www.videojug.com/film/nl-vs-vhl Thank you

Open Question: Is laminate flooring safe for bathrooms?

I've heard from some folks that Pergo and such isn't good for bathrooms/kitchens....is this true? Does anyone have any experiences to share? We're looking to remodel our bathroom and I know I don't want tile on the floor, as it is too cold and very slippery, so we're looking for something that looks like tile, but isn't as cold or as slippery.

Open Question: today i pulled up my carpet to refinish the wood and under the carpet on the hardwood were about 100 nails.?

this is a problem because i planned to refinish the floor and i don't know how to remove the nails. so my question is is there a way to remove or hit them below the surface(yes, I've already tried) and i cannot access the bottom of the floor because of a drywalled ceiling. please give me a idea as to what to do. thank you for your time. these are non supporting nails added for quieting the floor before the old owner put in carpet.
