I would like to remove the section of wall between the kitchen and the rest of the house. The wall is built with rough cut 2 x 4. The wall is 22 feet long, the section i want to remove is 10 feet. With proper headers put in, can this be done ? I am quite experienced with carpentry and renovations, if I feel this task can be under taken, I will get the math on the size of the header I would need, just want to know if anyone has ever done something similar.
