Taa x Open Question: How can I decorate my kitchen?My kitchen is really bare and is in need of some decorating. It's an apartment, so I can't do anything drastic (can't even paint!). The walls are a light yellow and a lot of our dinnerware is red and black. I have two completely bare walls that I want to hang something on, but I can't figure out what will look good there. I have decorative art elsewhere in the apartment, but for some reason it all seems wrong in the kitchen. I also can't stand the whole "country kitchen" look. Any recommendations for some wall hangings (pictures or other) that might help me take up some of the bare space? Open Question: Does my sofa have to be on the opposite wall of the living room door?Was thinking of getting a corner sofa but due to the long oblong shape of the room (two rooms knocked together) i can't fit the sofa on the usual wall. Would it Look daft if the fire surround was moved..Therefore on entering room you would not see a welcoming fire but a sofa and the fire would be opposite the sofa running along the same wall as the door Open Question: having trouble with re doing my room?Ok I have been wanting to re do my room for a long time now. I just finally got to getting around to it yesterday. At first I was set on having a zebra themed room (bed covers, throw carpets, desk chair, dome chair) but now I am thinking that maybe when I get older (i'm 14) I might not want zebra. So I am stumped in between Zebra and Victorian. What is your opinion? I already went to my mom and she was at NO help. Thanks so much!!!
