Open Question: what looks nice with duck egg blue?im decorating my room duck egg blue but i want to use another colour for accessories, cushions, etc. i dont want to use brown tho. thank you! x Open Question: Can I paint my old Baxi gas fire?We moved into our house about a year ago. We are currently decorating our sitting room in black and white colour scheme, however we have a hideous old style Baxi gas fire with the wood surround. Is there any way that we can paint the wood (keeping all the metal parts showing) black? We do NOT intend to use the fire again as we have just mounted the tv above the fire. This is just a solution until we can find the money to take away the fire and replace the boiler, which both unfortunately need to be done at the same time! Any ideas for painting it? Would normal matt or gloss paint be ok if we are not using the fire? Thanks! Open Question: Should both of the bathrooms in my apartment be decorated similar?I have two bathrooms in my apartment and cannot decide if they should be decorated the same or should have different themes. The first one is in the master suite and has green decor, and the second one is the "common" bathroom which I have not yet bought bathroom decor for. Open Question: Condo...weird smell in closet?me and my fiance just moved into a newly remodeled condo. In our bedroom we have a walk in closet where we put clothes we dont use...depending on the weather. from time to time it smells like fish in there but we cant find the source...i told my fiance to wash her underwear more but she didnt laugh. thats besides the point tho. everything is clean an the smell comes and goes. There are no heating vents of any sort but there is a attic space above it. ive never looked up there and im sure there is nothing...any ideas?
