Open Question: can a 84'' tablecloth fit a table that seats 6 people?Open Question: hardwood floors throughout,They are solid, but all or most of the finish is gone?Open Question: how much does it cost to paint a ceiling in nj?Open Question: good website for funky abstract furniture?soo im moving soon and i am going to re-do my room. its going to be like really sexy and abstractt. im going to paint the walls a maroon color and the carpet will be a shiney pink or something. this website;; http://www.funkysofa.com/ is the type of stuff i want but i have a VERYYY small budget. please give me links/ pictures to some cool, chic looks. thankyou i mainly need a new dresser, and i just want like some sitting chairs and stuff. Open Question: Making my basement a livable space by waterproofing and eliminating possible termite problem.?I have owned my tiny row home in the city going on 3 years now. Prior to buying my house was renovated, everything except my basement. My basement has been one of my biggest problems This my first home and I planned on making my basement into a livable space, but my basement is damp and moldy, mushroom are growing from the walls along w/ salt residue, the concrete floor is dusty , deteriorating and rising in some spots. I am 5'3" and I can touch the beams on the ceiling. the beams has ash or some type of dust residue on it and I think I may have termites. which was treated before brought the house. What should I do? I talked to tons of contractors and waterproofing companies who's fees are way above my budget.... Major DIY Moment...........I went to the city to get a permit on digging out my basement and they said I need to get the ok from a structural engineer. The structural engineer told me to dig 2"x2" along the wall my neighbor property and find the bottom of the last boulder and that is where I would measure from. I have already started breaking up the concrete which was easier than I thought. Next is the digging about 18" down, adding the termite treatment (which I can buy from the local exterminator) then adding 4" of gravel and 4" of concrete. and parge the walls. How do I remove the old piping underground? Should I think about adding a drainage system, sump pump any thing of that sort for waterproofing and piping for a bathroom in the future. >>>>>>I think I know what I am doing because I worked w/ Habitat for Humanities , watch alot of HGTV. and my dad is a electrical contractor.<<<<<<<<<<< ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Open Question: how much does it cost to paint two 12X12 bedrooms & trim not ceiling all white in nj?have also two large rooms, trim and ceiling 20X20 all white two coats, and two average size hallways, 10x10 laundry room? I dont have to buy the white paint. Open Question: I need a painting pro to tell me a good brand of paint sprayer. PLEASE!!!?Hi, My BFF's husband is painting my basement for me. I'm paying him, but I also want to get him something. He's talking about using a paint sprayer to do the doors so there won't be streaking. He'll have to borrow one. He's a professional painter, but he can't use his work equipment to do my basement since it's not his own. I want to get him one that he can use for me then then keep. It' can't be one of the super expensive professional kinds. But I want it to be a good quality sprayer that he can use for himself and for other smaller jobs. I think he was talking about an airless one. I don't know anything about them or the difference and I can't ask because that would ruin the surprise of me getting him one. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE if you're a professional or you know a lot about painting equipment, can you recommend some brands and styles. Thanks!! Open Question: what is best dishwasher?Open Question: Can you please show me pictures/links of different shades of brown for bedroom walls?I have a medium sized room with 5 windows. I want to paint my room brown and use blue decor. I am thinking about maybe painting the trim blue too. Anyways I want something that isn't going to be too dark, but something not to light either. I can't seem to find any medium browns. I really like the chocolate brown idea, but I think its to dark. Any color ideas? Can you please send me pictures of different rooms or links?! Thanks! Open Question: Where can I get bedroom/bathroom items?! HELP!?I'm 14 and as a young teenager I like zebra prints. And I was wonder where can I get zebra print bedcovers and curtains? I heard they have em in JCP. Is it true? And I would like to get a zebra print shower curtain. Idk where to get em. Also I would like a "White" computer chair. I tried wal mart and Target but they don't have the "White" color. Where can I get it??? Please answer. Open Question: Is my contractor liable for a job he did 10 years ago?10 years ago we had a master bedroom and master bath added to our house. Now the floors in the bathroom are "soft"--meaning the wood is soft underneath the tile. (The shower is okay) Also, I just noticed another soft wood spot in our master bedroom, and in the hallway. I feel like I'm going to fall through the floor. Termites? I haven't checked that yet but I will. Also, this contracter asked me, the wife, to do something 10 years ago that I regret. At the final inspection I and my husband were unable to be there for the inspector visit. The contracter asked if he could pretend to be my husband so that this final inspection could happen. (He really wanted the inspection finished) I foolishly agreed. I never told anyone, even my husband, because I was so ashamed that I was so naive. So those are my two issues. Comments please!
