Please let me know your thoughts from what you know about the show. Thank-you Open Question: What style is my house?our house was built in approx 1907. The listing agent called it a "colonial revival" but it just doesn't seem colonial to me. I'm tempted to call it Victorian...but is it too simple to be a Victorian? here is a link to photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/48018641@N04/?saved=1 I too think it has a Craftsman feel. But aren't Craftsman bungalows? It's a 2.5 story house which leaves me confused. Open Question: Perfect color for my bedroom?I am deciding to paint my room a really pretty magenta and a glossy black. Do you think that is a good idea? I want to use Valspar from Lowe's. Do you know any good brands that are not expensive? This is how I want my new bedroom to look like but without the white just the magenta. http://img.hgtv.com/HGTV/2008/06/20/vt303-black-room-chandelier_lg.jpg Open Question: can u restore colour to a leather settee?hi,i have a chocolate brown leather settee but its wearing abit now,i love it and cant afford to replace it so was wondering is there anyway to restore the colour where its worn, many thanks Open Question: I need a system for organizing my brushes when I work (medium to large canvasses...?...[acrylics]). DIY is not my thing. I would need a stable vertical container with quite a few compartments for the differenr brush sizes. I don't know if they sell such things or if I would have to make it myself. Open Question: african inspired room colors unsure.?I want to redecorate my basement family room. the current colors are buttersotch caramel, yellow and burnt orange with the top trim a dark cherry. I don't like the yellow and orange mix to the caramel and was thinking of doing the trim dark chocolate, the back caramel wall stays, the 3 yellow walls Not sure (maybe a lighter caramel). My dilema is that the basement is very complexe, we have overhead boxes for the upstairs shoe corner and the outside water source, the middle of the room is lower cause of the ducks (also orange), we have cubboard, currently teh doors are yellow with the space between the doors orange. The doors are the caramel color. The bottom wall frames and door frames are orange. I'd add a picture but don't know how. I'm not sure if I should keep the doors the caramel color and have the lighter shade of caramel on those walls and make the cubboard doors the light caramel color with the back using the brown color.
