Open Question: Is it possible to make glass at home?Open Question: Should I move my gas stove, or just paint around it?We're ripping down old wallpaper and repainting the kitchen. My trouble area is the stove. The wallpaper goes behind it, so I'm guessing it was done before the stove was in place or it was moved around. I've read online that it's kind of tricky to disconnect/reconnect gas stoves since the lines are kind of fragile. Should I bother moving it forward a few feet to paint behind it, or just leave it where it is (about and inch or two from the wall right now) and paint behind it as best I can? I don't think it would ever be noticeable if I did that. Has anyone move their gas stove forward without issue? With no trouble disconnecting/reconnecting pipes? Thanks Open Question: best place to buy things for the home?My hubby and I got our first appartment together last may and have not really had the "money" to buy nice things for the house like curtains, tablecloth, home decorations, portraits, and just accent things to make your house a home. Everything we got is mostly our marriage gifts living room set, tv, all of our kitchen appliances, dinning table and some of the bathroom stuff. everything else we brought home from when we were single. We are using $600 from our taxes so I can finally get what I NEED for the house. I was wondering what store I could really use my money on things like I know macy's I would buy like 5 things and thats it.
