Open Question: punk pla pants are the straps removable?i want the plaid pants, but im not a big fan of the bodage straps...are they removable at all? http://www.infectiousthreads.com/big_ls_pants_bite_bullet.htm Open Question: teen bedroom wall color!?I am finally moving! I have had to share a bedroom with my older sister since I was born! But, here's my chance to have my own room with my own individuality added to the decor of it. I have been given the okay to paint my room. THANK GOD. So my first idea was of course my favorite colors... pink and black. My idea was to paint all four walls, besides the ceiling, black and then splatter paint and doodle with hot pink... I got the "NO" answer. My mom says that it will hurt my eyes and look gothic or whatever. So, here's my question... How can I paint my room to suit my mom's approval and my individual taste? I would still like to include black as one of the paint colors.. maybe pink and splatter paint black?? but would that be too bright, or too pink?? Please help me decorate my walls!.. I do not want the walls to be plain old white... ugh. Please also include pictures if available... I hope this question is understandable. Thanks. Open Question: 1. "unparalleled in interior" or "on the interior" ? 2. "diverse in exterior" or "on the exterior" ?(Pls note, the use of interior and exterior here equals to "inside" and "outside" – as in a human being's inside and outside beauty). Many thanks in advance! Cheers! Open Question: Contemporary bedroom help for a light purple room? Easy 10 points!?Hey! So, I have a lavender painted room (E:\My Pictures\2009_10_21\IMG_0640.JPG is a pic of part of my room when it was being painted) with warm cherry furniture and a matching sleigh bed. I'm confused on what to put on the bed, though. Links would be amazing! My original idea was just to have lilac or plum/royal purple (to add contrast) sheets and a white down comforter, but that seemed too plain. Do you put something on top of a plain white comforter? Or, in my case, would it be best just to get a comforter? Also, what color palette should I use? Sorry, this is kinda long and I asked a lot of questions, but any help of any kind would be hugely appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!!! Just curious: what is a duvet, are you supposed to put it on a comforter (such as my down one), and would it be good for adding visual interest? Open Question: Hey can some one give me advice for painting the interior of our house?OK first of all.........The living room It's got a giant window there. And three brown-sandy-dark sofas. There's lots of natural light. What color should we pint it? My mom thinks something like a and color like antique copper or golden leaf. Next up........My room! Its small (was kinda big) now there's a queen sized bed in there. There's a wide but short window in my room that outlooks a sun-room(how lucky! NOT). So not a lot of natural light. There's like a rim on the top of the walls like this - http://img.hgtv.com/HGTV/2009/01/05/HRIPR311-Wall-Molding-Clo-s4x3_lg.jpg the white part. there's like two inches of random wall then the ceiling. I wanted to paint the ceiling sand like color and the walls a non-neon light green. .i'm 14 and i want to make my room green http://www.vcf.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?partNumber=1180525&langId=-1&Nao=21&numberOfResultsPerPage=12&referrer=shelfPage&storeId=10001&catalogId=10153&N=4294966666%200%204294967163&categoryId=4294967293 That is my bed. I have everything except for the dressing table and mirror and the chest in the corner. My chest of drawers has a mirror on it. I was thinking of bamboo leaf green. I don't like yellow, purple, red or orange. What do you think? Thanks again Peeps! Open Question: Brass Candle Holders?Open Question: can I be eighteen and but paint?im painting my room tomorrow and dont want to make the trip to the store if i cant buy paint lol. im seventeen and live in sc Open Question: What are some things I can do to rearrange/decorate a room for an author-in-progress?Although I still have a lot to learn and still need to improve my writing, I'd like to become an author at some point in time. I write fantasy, mostly. If not fantasy, then romance; or both. I'd like my own space for when I write. My room--my house--is paneling (gah!) so that makes things difficult and uncomfortable. The walls are also hollow, which doesn't give me the kind of silence I'd prefer. I love creative rooms. Or, what I would call, "nerd rooms". ("nerd rooms" consisting of color, mini libraries of books, DVDs, and CDs; movie/band posters on the walls...yet creative, homey things like bean bags, fuzzy carpets, and the like.) Only problem with my dream "nerd room" is money. I'm not quite old enough for a job, and I can't ask anyone for money. So, basically what I'm asking is if anyone has some tips on making my room close to a, er, "nerd room" (or at least, more comfortable) till I can actually get some money. :-) More Recent Articles
