Open Question: If your dad was helping you remodel your house would you have to pay him?my dad has been helping me then he started wanting money . he has a job that he works for during the week and some days he did have work. so i was thinking he would work on my house. but on the days they guy didnt have work he would just stay home. he wouldnt go down to the house which is close to where he lives without me paying him and right now i just cant afford to. i am trying to pay the guys for the stuff noone can do like spraying cabinets and plumbing . i am on a budget.my dad is a contractor and it just bothers me that he wants to charge me and just not try to help me without charging. he said we will do anything to the house you want me to do. i gave him all the stuff in the house. carpet light fixtures. which were new. i had to replace the house with allergen free stuff for one of my children. then he saw that i was paying the wood layers and plumbers and painter. then i over heard him saying that i was just using him so now he wont do anything. the stuff he ripped out he has just left and it has been 2 months since it has bee touched. he did say that he wanted half of what the other guy pays them. then when i would agree he would go over to the house at about noon and if the other guy he works for needs something done he would go over to work for him at 7 in the morning. it was frustrating me . he would sleep in until 10 when i payed him something. Open Question: Any tips on this project?You might think this is kind of a dumb project, but I'm gluing all my old pop cans together then I'm going to like make a shelf out of them. Do you have any idea's on like glue I could use? Or any other ways to make a shelf out of them. I know you probably think it's dumb, but could you help me anyway? Open Question: how long can paint sit out uncovered?my wife paint a room a week ago and put plastic over the container she used for the roller she is dead set on using it to touch up i told her its a bad idea that its probabley bad. who is right?
