Open Question: Lavender bathroom with Paris theme?

hello - I am decorating my new apartment and I really want a relaxing, romantic style bathroom. Does anyone have any ideas about how to incorporate a Paris theme with lavender color? Would it work? So far I have bath accessories that are white with french writing on them. I also have a silver eiffel tower that hangs on the wall. What should I do about a shower curtain and bath/hand towels? Thank you for any ideas!!

Open Question: I need to have a new cooker hard-wired into my flat, how much should it cost for the electrician to do it?

The specifications on the cooker say must be hard-wired. So I am asking how much to expect to be charged; the cost is an important consideration as my income is fixed. Not looking to get it done on the cheap but would like not to be taken for a ride as I do not know about these things. Also, can the hard-wiring be done prior to delivery of the appliance? There is a stubby already behind my cooker and a switch on the wall that says 'cooker'. It has not been used by me as I have had a gas cooker since I've been here. Somehow I get the feeling that this is not what they mean by hard-wired though. Can someone advise me a little? Thanks to any who do.

Open Question: Bedroom decoration question...?

So I'm having my bedroom decorated but im not sure what colour/design i want, any ideas? My room is quite big, very light in the morning but can be quite dark in the afternoon. It's like a rectangle shape. It's currently baby blue, from when I shared with my brother about 5-6 years ago (I'm 16 now) I pretty much like all colours and don't mind wallpaper etc i'd like it to be a bit more 'grown-up' also the carpet is grey (I know, also from when I shared with my brother) it's not really a bad grey sort of a light grey, however I'm sure if i beg enough my mum will get a new one depending on the colours of my new room. All ideas and pictures appreciated (: Thank you x

Open Question: How can I make a brick ranch home's exterior look different?

I am looking for houses and I love the inside, yard, and price.. but wondering if there is anything I could do about the red brick ranch look... Vinyl siding would make it look like a mobile home i think...

Open Question: Where can I find concrete stencil kits?

I have an existing patio that I would like to stencil to dress it up. I found a how-to video on youtube, and they used a base coat of on material and a spray resin on top of the stencil. Can anyone tell me where I can find a complete kit to do this to my patio?

Open Question: I'm priming my basement room using a paint roller but see lap marks. Will this be visible if painted over?

Or do I have to use another coat of primer over it? Because I have 3 more walls to finish, I don't want to prime with 2 coats if it's not necessary. Using a Interior Latex PVA Primer (Olympic "Fast Hide"). Thinking of painting the walls "Ultra Pure White" with the trims being a dark color. If you can recommend a top quality paint to use, I would also appreciate that. Obviously I was unprepared so I made the mistakes and now have to fix them. But thanks for your help! Thanks for the answers so far. So because I only primed the 2 walls and you suggested I use another coat of primer, what about the other 3 walls? Do I just use 1 coat of primer? I'm afraid the finished primed walls will look uneven (Or is that a non-issue?)
