Open Question: i have a large long lounge how do i make it look wider?

I have a large long cream lounge but as its so long it makes it feel narrow. I have a window at one end and french doors at the other so unable to use mirrors. My feature wall has a fire place with log burner so dont think wall paper will help there. Any ideas on how to make it feel wider please?

Open Question: I have recently dropped some weights that have made a hole in my floor in my house upstairs.?

How much will it cost to fix? The floor is mdf/ chip board texture floor. The whole is about the size of a fist. The hole is under carpet. Possibly hire someone but maybe do it myself depending on the price. The builders will be working on the first floor.

Where can i find one of those under construction signs, wall hanging? I've looked on ebay, didn't find anything. I'm looking for decor for construction themed bedroom.

I have a small can of paint that was used on an accent wall when we bought our house. The small can was left for touchups, but now I want to paint the other walls the same color but do not have enough. If i take in my paint, can they match the color without a name or number?
