Any suggestions welcome :) Thankyouu! :) Open Question: Having to redo an old home, help with colors?My husband and I bought a new house and every room, including the outside needs to be repainted. The house is old and has a wrap around porch. The front door is a beautiful dark wood door, we would like to make that standout. The roof needs to be redone, we are doing it in tin (but haven't decided on the color yet). The inside floor is a medium wood and the kitchen floor is bricks that range from red to a black color, the cabinets are white. We know we want to paint the kitchen a reddish color, and I want the entire house to match. NOt all one color, but to all 'flow' together, including the outside. Soo... what colors would be good for the outside, livingroom, guests bathroom, and for each of the 3 bedrooms. Any help would be great. Open Question: Kitchen sink backing up problem? HEY JOE THE PLUMBER!!?JOE- third generation plumber...thanks...the pipes leading to and from the trap are all standard pvc...no strainer used...i'm thinking either the main drain has a obstruction that expands when hot water hits it, or the pitch of the pipesare off, but i only have the water backing up problem , when i run the hot water, not the cold. Also if you look into the drain, the plastic pipe that fits into it from below comes up right to the drain, which maybe blocks the flow of water, but still why the problem with hot and not cold??? Open Question: down v. feather v. polyester pillows?is there a real difference in the performance and comfort between a 360 count cambric cotton cover 100% down pillow, a 360 count cambric cotton cover 80/20% feather/down pillow, and a 230 count cambric cotton cover polyester pillow? I know there is a price difference, and the poly feels a bit scruffier when i rub a bit between my fingers. i'm not allergic to down or feathers. Is the down really better, or is it all in my head? Open Question: Kitchen sink backing up problem?What does it mean when my kitchen sink backs up if i let the hot water run, but that doesnt happen when i let the cold water run...hot water-sink backs up.......cold water-sink drains normally....and the trap was just changed recently, because i thought this might be the problem...but it wasnt clogged..any ideas??
