Open Question: How can I block the light from my bedroom window?I'm an extremely light sleeper, and when I try to sleep during the day the light from my window wakes me. I currently have "blackout" curtains, "blackout" liners, and two blankets all covering my windows, but they don't do the job. Besides that, they also make the bedroom too warm for comfort - I like to keep the window open for fresh air but all that cloth blocks it. Another problem I have is that my homeowner's association only allows white or off-white window coverings (at least, the part that shows through the window) so taping up foil is not permitted, nor would I be able to tape up garbage bags. Is there a solution that will cut the amount of light from the window to nearly nothing, but would also allow me to reduce the amount of cloth covering the windows while fulfilling the homeowner's association color requirement? HELP!
