Open Question: what should I use to hold aquarium on a wall....?ok I have a 55 gallon aquarium and I want to put it in a whole my wall has. now the walls width is like 1/3 the aquariums width. I want to find a way to balance the aquarium because I think the wall will hold the weight. I still am gonna renforce is with some 4x4 instead of the 2x2 is has now. so any ideas what I can do or use.... Open Question: im going to redesign my bedroom, need some tips.?I have two windows and it is sunny most of the day, so i want something bright and cheerful. I have pink bedding. I am a young teen so i don't want like cinderella. ha ha . I like to have plants in my bedroom though. I was going to go with pink and purple wall but i couldn't figure out a good floor color. Then i also liked the green and white look but it doesn't really go with my bedding. I need tips on every thing like things to add like window shades, rugs everything thanks I have a desk in my room that is glass A bed (getting new one so I need some ideas) A dresser(wood)but might get new one a mini side table(also wood) might get new one extras Beanie chairs lamps flowers fish tank gerbil cage(not really a big deal it goes any were) any ideas will help Again i need colors for wall, floor, bed, beanie chairs ext. I also want like room designs Polka dots striped should i get a rug?? Any pictures are good thanks again Open Question: I want to paint my yoga mat?I would like to hand paint my yoga mat. I need to know what type of paint would be best. It would have to be sweat and waterproof and doesn't flake or crack when i roll it. Our lease is up pretty soon, and since I will be leaving in August, my mom doesn't want to sign a lease for another two bedroom when I won't be here. So, she wants to move in a small one bedroom for the last 7 months im here. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that could help me as far as separating my own space from the living room to keep my sanity. I did this before for a year and it drove me mad. The size of the living room is 11x15, i have a window and a sliding glass door on my side. So I really dont have any space to work with here, my mom refuses me to paint, put holes in the walls to hang anything. So please, anyone with insight, its looking pretty dim over here and if someone could shine a light i'd be greatful I'm looking for insight on decorating and separating space. Open Question: Can anyone help with my wood trim in my old victorian home?I have an old home built in 1904. All the trim is white. I am debating on stripping and refinishing, but someone told me that these old victorian houses had white trim originally. I know this is not true of craftsman houses (1920's - 930's) Does anyone have any insight on this? If it matters it's a house in Minneapolis, MN. Open Question: Do you have a Tempur-Pedic® Mattress? Would a lighter blue work? There are 5 windows about 60 inches wide and about 68 in length. A 18 inch valence? Thanks for all ideas.
