Open Question: Where to buy high quality furniture in North Carolina?

I am moving to Dubaii next year and I am in need of some good high end luxury furniture... I live in texas but I heard that they had these awesome furniture galleries in NC and that they did not charge a ridiculous amount. If you have any idea of some good places I would really appreciate it (this is obviously not limited to NC, if you know of any other places anywhere else I would like to hear it). Thanks guys!!!

Open Question: Indie Bedroom Decorating Ideas?

I'm fifteen years old and my parents are letting me redecorate my room. It's a VERY small room so I'm limited in what i can do. I'm painting it like a maroon red color, and i want it to have a very vintage/indie feel. If anybody can send any links to give me some inspiration for decorating ideas that would be great!

Open Question: How to hang drywall ceiling in basement?

I know the standard way to hang a drywall ceiling is to just screw it into the floor joists for the above floor. However, I am trying to help a friend out and they have a lot of wires running on the bottom of the joists instead of through holes in the joists. So if I just screwed drywall directly into the joists it would crush the wires. What is the best way to correct this? I would prefer not to do a hung ceiling as it would be really low.
