Open Question: what color should my walls be if my bed is red?

Here is a picture of the layout of my room. I can NOT decide what color to use since my wall space is a bit funky, and my bed is red with a large picture of Buddha over the bed, I'm going for the Indian buddah look, I would love to paint my walls red, but I feel it would blend in with my bed (too much red). I considered alternating walls with red, but then one wall would be red, and cause the same problem (too much red). I want a bold color, nothing neutral, beige or boring. I'm 21 and want it to be outstanding. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GOOD. (w= window, D= door) here is a layout of the room! http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh97/ladan89/Screenshot2010-03-27at65120PM.png

Open Question: How could I make my room look more like an Anthropologie store?

I don't exactly want any of their expensive decor. products but I love the way the store itself is decorated. I have a new chestnut dresser and desk so I need for stuff to match with that.

Open Question: What colour should I paint my bedroom?

I have purple curtains with light and dark strips of colour on them. The carpet is two-tone, sort of like this: http://www.coloradocarpet.net/carpet%20picture.jpg I also have a cream rug and my furniture is this sort of colour: http://www.naturescrib.com/images/products/lrg%20pcwoodworking.jpg At the moment I have 3 light blue walls and 1 yellow wall. My room looks fine as it is but I really need a new bed because I have a horrible old bunk bed at the moment so I thought I may as well paint it just for a nice little change. I was thinking something like mint: http://www.dulux.co.uk/servlet/ColourAvailabilityHandler?name=mint_ice Any other suggestions? I guess I could have a sort of neutral colour maybe? Also I really don't want to paint it purple!

Open Question: I need some help decorating my room. Any ideas?

Hi everyone! I recently painted my room ( a very small one) an extremely light blue color. Its so light blue that it looks as if its white. But anyways, i also just recently bought a full bed that is a dark, rich espresso color. I'm not sure that since its so dark, if i should get a matching dresser with my bed, or a different color, like light green so that my room isn't too full of contrast. Also, should i get an armoire, chest, or dresser? Remember MY ROOM IS VERY SMALL! NOTHING TOO BIG PLEASE! and add some pics. thanks

Open Question: What colors would go with red for my formal living/office?

I have always dreamed of having a home with walls painted different tones of red and now that I finally bought a house I have no clue where to start. But I have decided the largest room of my home is where I will start, and I want a real red not anything with a pink hue or Orange hue either. I just want a really nice red maybe a crimson. But then not a maroon either. And then I don't know with what to accent it. I love the color black with red, but that would be to dark and its going to make that space seem too small. I know that red already is going to do that to the room and I am ok with that. That room also connects to my kitchen and I do plan on having a red kitchen as well. Please Help stuck on what other color to pair with red for this formal room. Im an art major and know a lot about color but I just want to stick with complementary like maybe an olive, but my husbands not into that color combination.
