Open Question: What color to paint a pool table dining room?I am turning my poorly lit dining room into a pool table room. The pool table is cherry finish with golden colored felt. The DR walls have wainscoting up to chair rail, crown molding with coffer ceiling, wood shutters all painted white. The family room next to dining room has a rust colored accent wall with rust and brown decor. I was thinking to paint the top portion of the DR wall a brown red and the wainscoting a golden color similar to the pool table felt leaving the trim white.
