Open Question: What is more "timeless", light or dark kitchen?Open Question: thinking of ideas from home?i live in a small town up north in minnesota and im looking to get into some kind of business with very little money to start, does anyone have any ideas to make money, Open Question: Removing Splatter Paint?I splatter painted my room a while ago extremely bright colors and I want a change. How should I go about removing it? Open Question: Please help me with my room!?First of all I'm a girl who is 14. The walls are purple and blue (top and bottom) with a band round the middle that has dogs, cats and bears on it. I LOVE animals and so the band isn't too bad but it is too young for me and I'm not allowed to repaint it so I was looking for some cheap ways to make the whole room more personal and mature. Any ideas are welcome!! Thanks! Open Question: Coming to terms with woodchip wallpaper? My boyfriend is moving out of his parents' home for the first time, and he's viewing some places. He's found something really great for money, in the right location, has a great balcony, etc. The rooms are a nice size, it has an extra room which could be used as a computer room/spare bedroom. It's pretty nice. Except for the woodchip! In all the rooms except the bathroom! :( Now I am supposed to go live there too according to plans, next year. So whatever place he picks I feel involved with and he wants me to be involved with (although sadly I cannot view with him because he's not in the UK and I can't afford to fly out just for viewings!). I just can't stand woodchip paper! My boyfriend is indifferent to it, he doesn't mind it because he has it in his parents' home too. His parents also seem indifferent to it. My boyfriend also wouldn't have the time or money to be able to remove it, so removing it isn't an option, especially as it's not meant to be his permanent home, just his first one. My question is for decorating advice, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make woodchip look bearable? My boyfriend wants to bid on it once he's had some legal stuff about the apartment complex checked over, so living with woodchip is a possibility I must face! Anything that can be done to still make the place look stylish and pretty despite the "cellulite walls" as I so delightfully think of it? XD More Recent Articles
