My favorite colors are purple, lime green, and aqua blue.I want a cool room....let's just say i might use my old trampoline and make it a a couch or a big place to sit on. As you can see I like to be creative. So any ideas... Even if u dont think it will happen its ok to write any of ur ideas.

Open Question: Can you hang a curtain rod above a window sill?

I want these curtains that are 84" tall but if I hang them at the sill there will be about 5 inches of curtain on the floor. I know there's no rule to hanging curtains but is it normal to hang the rod above the window sill rather than across it?

Open Question: Is there a gloss paint that isn't too shiney?

Hi, I've recently built some cupboards and shelves in my sitting room which I want to paint white. I'm going to use gloss paint so that spilled drinks etc can just be wiped off without leaving a mark and I wondered if any knows whether there are different types of gloss paint. I'm going for white or close to white like ivory. The reason I ask is that last time I used gloss paint it was really shiney, but I've got some furniture from Ikea that is painted white that is a lot less shiney (but not matte) so I wonder what they use? Any help much appreciated.
