I bought plum colored sheets and a grey quilt/comforter. Our bed frame and furniture is black. How should I decorate the room? What color should I paint the walls? Open Question: Apartment charging for countertop replacement?I recently vacated an apartment in Eden Prairie(MN). The lease was supposed to end on March 13 and i left on Feb 14 by paying the remaining amount i owe them. I asked them to come for home inspection several times and i got a response telling that they dont do home inspection until the lease ends. When i left the apartment i made sure everything was clean. The only mistake i did is to remove the sticker i pasted on countertop which was supposed to protect the countertop. On March15 i got a bill saying that they replaced the countertop and asking me to pay 780$ for it. They also said that they billed me only half the amount. I asked them to send the pics and its been three weeks and i have not yet received any pictures. Do any one has any idea that a countertop replacement will cost so much? I am trying to find from other professionals like how much it would cost to replace a countertop? If it doesnt cost so much as what apartment people are quoting, how can i protect myself and pay as what is it really worth? Please give me some advices.. Open Question: We have an apartment on the basement floor but it gets too dry could this affect why my toddler is staying up?Myself and my husband have an apt on the bottom floor of a six plex building and when the thermostat is turned up too high for a certain time i notice that it gets really dry could this be one reason as to why my 21 month old daughter is deciding to not go to sleep tonight other times she is pretty good with going to bed for the whole night just that tonight it seems to be extreamly dry i keep giving her her juice to sip on so her throat does not get dry but that does not seem to be working tonight?
