Open Question: How hot do candle warmers get?I'm trying to talk my parents into letting me get a candle warmer, but they're concerned about how hot they get. It is better than sharing a room but the basement still needs a little bit of help. The ceiling is somewhat open- you can see pipes and wires and cords which I have been strictly instructed not to touch or hang things on. The walls are made of wood- but not a smooth kind. It's in many needle thin strips. There are nail heads and areas to hang things all over. The floor is a green and white tile that is falling apart. I have a small bed, a large desk, a tall dresser, a plastic crate/ nightstand, a small TV on a thin stand, dozens of posters which I have not put up, a bowel chair, and a full sized refrigerator. I want it to look neater and more feminine but it's very difficult with the way the room is designed. I plan on getting a carpet for my birthday but nothing is set in stone. Any suggestions? And, yes, I do have an EGRESS window. There is more than one escape route in case of fire.
