Open Question: How is wastewater from my bathroom and kitchen is treated before it is discharged into the sea?Open Question: I have a limited space to install a flight of stairs. What do I need to do?I have a limited space for run due to the layout of my LR and kitchen. In total, I have 151 inches along a wall in the LR to the fridge in my kitchen. In that space I wanna remove a sliding door and place a single door next to the fridge and have the stairs run down towards the door and fridge. The ceiling height from the top of the upstairs floor to the cement in the basement is 90". So with a 36" landing at the top of the stairs can I functionally have a run at or under 90" and have a safe set of stairs? The bottom landing has plenty of room so thats not an issue. Its just the top. Any input? Thanks! Now we have some more money we are going to decorate, i have looked at sofas and found a lovely purple/aubergine one and that would go with the curtains i have in my dining room, do you think it is ok to have the same theme in two rooms. Dining room currently has stone coloured carpet but will soon have a walnut floor and living room a beech floor so slightly different in that respect.
