I've already installed a motorized range hood by inserting the pipe into the vent right over the range. Unfortunately the board called me and said to install a motorized range hood is not allowed, because 1)other people living in this complex do not have motorized range hood 2) the vent is motorized, so a motorized range hood is likely to interfere the efficiency of the motorized vent oh my goddess, I'm gonna use the hood at most 20min everyday, how can that interfere a more powerful vent function working all the day? And the board don't know either if it's true as they said unless consulting an engineer. Anybody has suggestions or has experienced a similar situation? Thank you!
