Open Question: how much sooner can you plant in a hoop house?I live in zone 4, very short growing season,and we get the occasional cold snap and snow flurries. I am putting in hoop houses for this years garden made of PVC pipe and visqueen (visqueen will work best since it will be taken down over the winter and replaced each year). My question is how much sooner can I plant in there? Usually don't start planting here until late May, would a full month early be too much to expect? what is the temp difference usually? Still get gets (barely) below freezing at night, would hoop houses be warm enough then? thank you!
