Open Question: how to remove paint and grain? and more... Open Question: how to remove paint and grain?Open Question: Do thin anchor screws work on the thin walls of a manufactured home?Open Question: How to get spray paint to show up better?I was practising graffiti on my fense and the paint would not show up well, I could see it but it didn't stand out on the fence, the paint was chrome so it should stand out well on wood shouldn't it? Please if anyone has any advice on how to make it more opaque when spraying like how far away to hold it and how to hold it I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you Open Question: Is it ok to pour the dishwasher liquid straight into the dishwasher instead of using the dispenser? My dishwasher's soap dispenser does not open during any cycle. Can I just pour the liquid into the bottom of the dishwasher to wash? I also have the Cascade Action Packs. Can I throw those in? Open Question: i want to make my room juicy couture themed?idk if i should do pink and white stripes for the walls or a simple pink and wat about the bedsheets? which color? Open Question: Can I remove this weird half wall in my kitchen?I am planning a kitchen remodel in my house and I would like to take out this weird wall thing but I can't figure out why its there. It hangs from the ceiling about 3 or 4 feet and runs all the way across the kitchen ceiling. It does not touch the floor at any point. It does not continue into the next room and it does not line up with the exterior wall of an added utility room in the next room. I went to the attic to see if maybe there was some roof support added in that area and there is nothing directly above this weird wall. After going to the attic and see that there is nothing above it, I took a hammer to the plaster on a section of it, and cut a 12"x12" hole in the in side of this weird wall and it's hollow (at least in the section I cut out. I feel like this call isn't doing anything and it should be ok to take out, but I want to see if you any of you might know why this is here or if it's important. I've posted a video of the wall here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgQplC8Dty0 Let me know what you think, anything helps. Thanks Open Question: home addition dilemma? We have a single story ranch style home - about 1500 square feet. We would like to build a 2 car garage, with an apartment above (for our college age son) along with a small workshop (for me) and a bonus room (man-room for my husband) both on the same level as the garage. We will be adding about 1000 square foot of living space not including the garage. We are planning to attach to current house with a covered porch. My concern is that with it being 2 stories, at least for the apartment part, it will look as if we built a "castle" addition along side a shack. Well, maybe not that bad. :) But I am afraid it will look ODD. Does anyone know of any sites that have good pictures of additions to small that I could look at to get some ideas of what we want before we start having plans drawn up? Thanks Open Question: Room Decor Suggestions?I am bored and want to do something new to my room.
