I love florals, but then I like quite old fashion, but I also like modern looks, or plain white with colorful flowers. If you went into a cupcake shop, what would you want it to look like inside? And what styles would you think would be suit everyone? Open Question: How do I dispose of a desk?I have an old desk that I need to get rid of. It is fairly small. The desk is 47 inches, 24 inches, and 30 inches in its width, depth, and height. How would I go about disposing of this desk? I don't care about selling it I just need to get rid of it ASAP. Open Question: Why can't compact florescents be used in enclosed fixtures?I got a couple ceiling fans in my game room and wanted bright white lighting, not soft white. I stuck 25 watt daylight cfls in the fans. The 25 watt bulbs are supposed to be equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent. On the package it says base up operation only, but all the ones at home depot say this. The fans have the globe style covers and take 1 bulb. Is it safe to have them in there, or will the bulb catch on fire? No one has ever dealt with a compact fluorescent bulb before?? I dont want to put the bedrooms in the basement, so how much would it cost to build an upper level? Meaning, take off the roof, and build ontop, appx. 400 sq feet worth, and then build the roof back over top that level? I'd like to build 4 bedrooms, and a master bath. is it even possible? Any information would be great. I'm in Ontario Canada by the way. Well i'd like to take off the roof, and then add another level then add a steel roof. This house is only about 20-30 years old. I donnot own it yet, but I'm considering it cause the location is good, and the price is right, appx, $80,000.00 or less. I'm just renting it at the moment. My dad, and my grandpa and father in law could probably do the de construction, as they used to work in that field, so im sure they can do alot. Open Question: Teenager's Basement Bedroom?This summer my mom is hiring contractors to frame up a room down stairs and I was wonder what I could do to make it like unique. We have our cats' litter boxes in there, and need to divide the garage so that a car will fit inside and a "wall" will keep the cats from getting near the car. I don't want a permanent wall... just something to keep the cats from the car and from getting out through the garage door. I also need a way to get from the car into the kitchen, so perhaps some kind of gate as well. The kitchen door would probably be in the cat area (the way our garage is made). Do they make anything like a folding fence or do you have any good ideas for me that won't break the bank? Read a book the other day that said a certain character could see a NEW color on the very edge of the spectrum. Now can you see in your minds eye a BRAND NEW COLOR?
