Open Question: I need some closet help?

I need help with my closet, I cant really get it redone.. But I dont know how I should organize it. I have one dresser. A set of 4 white iron small shelves. A big long shelf at the top of my closet. And a wooden bar across where I hang my clothes. Its not really a walk in closet it just goes about 20 inches back and is about 108 inches across, give or take a few inches. But I need help I have a lot of clothes (none that I want to get rid of) and dont have enough room for all of them. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can reorganize this to make it easier. My big pull over sweaters (hang on the wooden bar) take up most of the space... anyone have any other ideas of where I can put them? Help CLOSET ORGANIZE websites, ideas?

Open Question: How best to refinish pine kitchen cabinets?

My 20-year old pine kitchen cabinets are in good condition except the finish is worn ... in some spots almost to the bare wood--I believe the finish is polyurethane flat-gloss. What can you you recommend doing for do-it-yourself refinishing?

Open Question: Do you think building codes should require oil-based paint in bathrooms and kitchens?

In new construction or remodeling where permits are pulled, do you think the building inspectors should require that bathroom and kitchen walls/ceilings be painted with oil-based paint? It is far more durable than any latex paint, especially near water or moisture. It's all I ever use in those areas. If I was a building inspector for the city of Livonia, I would require it.

Open Question: Tile, Laminate, Prego, or Vinyl Flooring?

Here's the scenario: Our house is about 70 years old, and we just recently tore up the old kitchen tile (green and gray) and the dining room carpeting (green). We now have a 15' x 25' barren floor that needs a new look. We plan on selling this house in about two years, so we want to choose something affordable that looks nice. The rest of the house is hardwood flooring (Maple colored). Should we do a laminate tile look? Or should we try to match the rest of the house's natural wood. What is the best choice for resale? Our neighborhood is slowly turning into a low income area. I would appreciate any input!! The measuring guys will be here tomorrow afternoon. Please advise on the best choice. Thank you!!!!
