Open Question: Do you have a platform bed and do you like this style?I noticed while looking at bedroom furniture that there is this new style called a platform bed. It appears to only have one mattress with wooden slats holding up the mattress. There are wodden legs on the wooden frame. It doesn't look very sturdy and wouldn't it be uncomfortable without a regular mattress and boxspring? If you have a platform bed, do you like it and what's great about it? I did notice that the prices for platform beds seem to be really reasonable, but is that because they are made really cheap and won't last or is this a trendy item that is going to go out of fashion?
