Well I can't get it to come clean and I want it to come off. I can take it off but I am having difficulty removing the glue- it's like a tan glue. Thanks Open Question: Can I salvage this mess?I am not joking I am serious - I had a pressie - a car -I have had it for a few months I was running out of oil and the guy at the garage opened the screwey top thing on the engine to put some in and the inside of the enginge bit had all dry crusty black stuff round it. I asked what it was and the garage guy said it was due to lack of oil changes he also said that these bits once disturbed will block the filter in somewhere and mess up the car. Can i get it cleaned out or should I just bin the car and get another one?? I should add that this car supposedly has had a full service each year - yeha right - I don't even believe that and I obviously know nothing about cars other than what ones I like to look at!! soz this should be in cars and motoring anyone know how to get it there (Well done bluebirds!!!!!)
