Open Question: How can I redecorate my room?My room is somewhat small. The biggest things I have in my room are my dresser, desk, and bed. I have so many posters and drawings on my walls, I've run out of space. I have the urge to just re-do my room, but I have only vague ideas. I'd appreciate some suggestions or ideas for what I can do. I have a lot of music posters from bands like Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Radiohead, Slipknot, Metallica, and the Beatles. I also have some Yin-Yang posters, Cheshire cat and Ed Hardy posters. I tend to draw a lot and have hung some of my stuff up. Although, I don't know if I'm going to keep it. It's kind of... crappy. I love videogames, and I have a lot of electronics. I plan on becoming a graphic designer, thus I work on the computer a lot. I have 2 computers, one is very bulky and I don't use it. The room has 2 closets and the only free space is the middle of the room. There's one window that I'd like to keep covered. I sleep a lot, so I like my room dark. I'm very interested in meditation, music, and I seem to talk about marijuana and shrooms quite a bit. I'm learning to play the guitar and I have 3 guitars. I've been trying to get my mother to help me paint my room black, or a dark grey color. Well, from that information, could you give me some ideas? Ikea has the smallest ones I've found in this style (I'm going for smaller), and they look nice... But they aren't exactly cheap and I hear Ikea furniture is usually not comfortable. Plus you have to assemble it yourself, which is not a plus for me. I think I'm willing to get past the high-ish price tag and the needing to put it together if I really can't find my couch anywhere else, but it needs to at least be comfortable. Can anyone tell me from experience how uncomfortable an Ikea couch is? Is it worth it, or are they totally overhyped? Is there a certain line that is more comfortable than the others? Am I going to regret it if I get a Swedish couch? Open Question: What light bulbs should I go with for a kitchen with recessed can lighting?What would you personally put in your kitchen with recessed can lighting. I don't want dull lighting, but a nice bright even light. I see they have 2700k, 4100k, 5000k and 6500k bulbs. All of them are compact florescents, and ones designed for recessed fixtures. Normal ones would overheat I heard. What should I go with?
