Open Question: What bed brands/type are recommended for a college student with a budget of $200 max?

I'm moving to a new place, but sadly, it's not furnished, the rent is $485 including utilities and an uber awesome kitchen but sadly there's no decent bedroom or anything. I'm looking for any bed that I can lie on and have a good night's sleep, that's all I need the bed for. any suggestions and possible links might be awesome

Open Question: Where can i buy good quality union jack or britatannia cushions?

Im looking for some union jack cushions for my sofa. I have a leather sofa in my home and the cushions are a bit dated. There are lots of cheap britannia cushions and union jack cushions that are clearly poorly made out there. Im looking for quality union jack cushions please. maybe large or small ones depending on how stylish they are. thanks.

Open Question: Burnt Orange & Teal Color Palette..?

I have burnt orange/terra cotta curtains that I absolutely love in my living room, along with a large microfiber sectional (brown with dark brown/black leather). We are currently renting right now so I'm not able to paint the walls - but we will be buying within the next six months so I'm working on ideas for my color scheme. We currently have wood flooring and are hoping to have it in our next living room so I can use my teal area rug (it's a very neutral teal). My tables are slate with suble teal and orange in them. I'm just wondering if anyone has pictures or ideas for other ways I could add? I am planning on painting my walls that same neutral teal and getting lamps with ivory shades.. What other ways could I make the colors all tie together without looking too bold? Thanks a bunch, just looking for any ideas you might have!!

Open Question: Need help decorating with photographs? I have a family collection of old photo's dating back to the 1800's?

some are from my fathers side of the family, they consist of old western photo's, the family Mercantile, driving cattle on horseback from Washington state to other states, my dad dressed in everyday cowboy gear, gun and holster included. Then we have my mother's side of the family. A picture of my grandfather repairing weaving machines in one of the countries oldest silk mill, in his Barber shop cutting hair, my grandmother born in 1902 in her high chair, and a special picture of my mother, her sister and my grandmother all posing in swimsuits in the mid 1930's. A very eclectic bunch of photographs portraying very different lifestyles. My dad's family, very country, men and woman always in farm clothes toting a gun. My mom's family, city folk, the women always in dresses, very refined. My home is a country home, no cattle here, just a pony and very close to the city and all it offers. My home is decorated in an old world style, a little Tuscan with deep shades of orange, sage, crimson, leather, wood and wrought iron furniture, tin ceilings, big fireplace, not at all rustic. So, my question: Where can I hang these pictures that would not look out of place? How can I group them together? Do I use the frames to unify them or let them be distinctly different? I hope you can help. Right now they sit in a box and I fear that in time they will get ruined if not properly displayed.

Open Question: OLD abused wooden chest. Help with fixing the wood surface.?

We got a chest that was used in some guy's guarage. The thing is VERY VERY VERY old… From what we discovered, over 100 years old. It weighs a ton all on its own and has two drawers in front. The brass is still shiny but the wood hasn't been cared for properly in a long time. I used Pledge Wood Cleaning Spray and then topped it off with Old English Furniture Polish: Scratch Cover for Dark Wood and then I rubbed a chemical burn from some autotive fluid with sand paper to remove the fibers that had begun to break down, then rubbed wax and the Old English in to it to seal. I don't want to have to sand the whole thing… Could I use a wax based paste to buff it and help smooth the surface and bring out a gloss? Thank you very much for any help you can provide.
