Open Question: what colour duvet would go with a cream leather bed?Open Question: Would you buy a house with an Eco roof?I own a house that i will sell to pay off my student loans. it needs a roof before i sell. i have the urge to put on an eco roof (the kind that are like a garden) but i am nervous as i am not sure to what degree that will affect my buyer market. would you buy? would you do that if you were selling? i know that is sorta far out, but i believe in the concept and would certainly like to partake in it. i think it is GREAT! but i am afraid it will be perceived as 'dangerous' or whatnot as folks are not always willing to jump into something that they don't understand. the upkeep is fairly easy you know, and they help a ton with insulation. i could go on and on. i am fine with taking a risk when i believe in something. but, i do need this house to sell as it is an investment property FOR my student loans. but, i have great renters and so really, if it took a while, i would be ok. what do you think? would you? would you buy with that sort of roof? I can't install one of those window a/c units either. My end of the house has poor circulation as well. I'm having a difficult time finding twin xl comforters that aren't too boring or ugly however. And yes I've searched alot of places for decent twin xl comforters in stores and online already with no luck. If I were to get a different sized comforter, which size would be the best alternative?: regular twin, full, queen, or king? I already understand it wouldn't fit perfectly and that the bigger sizes will hang off the bed or I may have to fold it in half or something. Any suggestions on what would be best? Open Question: help with wiring a ceiling fan in an older home?I'm replacing a ceiling fan in an older home and the wires have me confused. The old connections were: 1 wire went to black and the other three went to white on the fan. The new fan has 1 blk, 1 blue, and 1 white. The wires coming out of the ceiling all look alike. There are no markings that distinguish them from each other. I connected the ceiling wire that was connected to the black wire on the old fan to the black wire on the new fan but I can't seem to hit the right combination with the rest. Also there is a ground wire on the new fan but no visible ground in the ceiling Open Question: Has anyone painted a room black or dark charcoal?
