Open Question: Where can I buy living room furniture with a cottage/shabby feel to it?I can't stand microfiber. I want something soft, warm and comforting. Homey. Open Question: how do you paint on plastic?i need to paint on some plastic plates for an art project. how do i do this? Open Question: What do you think of this bedroom color scheme/idea?I'm 13 years old, and my bedroom is a pretty good size, definetly not too small but not that huge either. I really want to have a bedroom that reflects who I am, especially being a teen, undergoing a lot of stress I want it to be the one place that relaxes me. And it'll be the only space I can call mine also. So I'm thinking of doing all the walls but one like a soft blue or a refreshing blue-green. Then the other wall would be a warm coffee color, or some creamy beige or something. Then as an accent color I would have a nice bright pink to give off more energy. Like my bedsheets, a few pics, and maybe flowers. I don't know, what do you think? My room has two windows side by side btw. Thanks! Open Question: How much should it cost to set a matching carpet on a 12' x 18' space? My roommates and I had some construction done to extend our living room into some extra space next door. The extra space is 12' x 18' and we have to carpet it to match the rest of the living room. The thing is, my landlord wants to find someone himself to set carpeting (that matches the rest of the living room) and charge us out of our security. The landlord isn't exactly trustworthy, and we've had some arguments over money in the past, so we're a little concerned that he's going to charge us unfairly. How much should this cost, and what's an amount where we definitely know he's screwing us? Some friends have told me that it should definitely not cost more than $500 or $600. Any experts out there? I guess it depends on quality, but the carpet already in the living room isn't high quality or anything. Thank you! Open Question: How should i decorate my bedroom?i want to do it black and white theme with differant patterns on the walls but i need furniture(maybe a chandelier) and patterns for the walls or anything you want to add!
